The main purpose of the Sponsored Projects & Operations Coordinator position is to assist with overall sponsored research administration for UNC with primary emphasis on providing the highest level of customer service to campus and sponsors commensurate with the mission of the Office.

The Coordinator is responsible for: Monitoring assigned email inboxes, responding to the needs of telephone callers and visitors to the office, processing incoming and outgoing proposal and award requests, performing data entry into RAMSeS for proposal or award related requests, reviewing and setting up of Letters of Financial Guarantee requests, receiving and sending of monies, processing and delivering mail and managing sending/receiving of FedEx or USPS packages, initiating purchasing requisitions, printing orders, check requests, and vouchers, submitting and reconciling p-card transactions, filing and retention of all administrative and sponsored project documentation, and assisting with facilities management of all office buildings

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
