FT: M-F 8a-4p

Wage: $19.00/hour

Our focus is supporting individuals by ways of residential housing, mental health and clinical services, and immersing our participants in community engagement. Working closely with the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities and the Office of Mental Health, we support 27 housing locations and 3 administrative buildings.

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive employee who provides administrative support to the DD/ABI department and oversee the performance of the Administrative Assistants in the DD/ABI department

Responsibilities include:

  • Monitor EHR documentation

  • Assist staff with equipment and office and building procedures

  • Supervise DD/ABI Administrative Assistant

  • File participant documentation in participant record in a timely manner

  • Oversee the recruitment, interviewing and hiring process for the department

  • Develop and ensure implementation of an orientation training program for new Administrative Assistants

    Education & Experience

    High School diploma/GED required. Business school graduate preferred .

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

    One year administrative assistant experience preferred. Must be able to independently perform administrative duties. Computer skills including word processing, excel, and database management necessary. Good written and verbal skills required.

    Conditions of Employment

    Must have a valid New York State driver’s license in accordance with the Agency Vehicle and Driving Policy and transportation necessary to meet program needs. Must be able to lift 75 pounds .
