Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center (MVRBC) is the exclusive provider of blood products and services to our partner hospitals in Illinois, Iowa, Missouri and Wisconsin. The Blood Center is based in Davenport, Iowa, where MVRBC’s testing, processing and primary distribution center of blood components. MVRBC is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization.

MVRBC has an exciting opportunity for a Recruitment Development Consultant/Territory Manager to develop and maintain strong relations with community organizations in the St. Louis area. This position will allow you to showcase your marketing, sales, territory management and relationship building skills while supporting our life saving mission. As a RDC your day may consist of speaking engagements with community groups, relationship development with an existing sponsor, territory development and blood drive promotion to new host groups, or networking with our community leaders. This is an exciting position that gives you creativity and the ability to make a difference! Not your typically sales job!

This is a full time position working Monday through Friday with occasional evenings and weekends. Experience: The ideal candidate will have extensive business to business sales experience, demonstrated territory management, strong communication and organizational skills, a demonstrated ability to obtain measurable goals, solid customer service experience, and the ambition to motivate others.

This position requires a confident, organized, goal-oriented, individual who is comfortable with public speaking; media relations experience is a plus. Individuals with a history of working with volunteer groups are encouraged to apply. Experience working on behalf of a nonprofit organization is also a plus.

Education: A Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of experience and education, is preferred. Candidate must possess a valid driver's license, be insurable by MVRBC's insurance carrier, and be willing to drive within the MVRBC service area.
