Please note that this is a FULL TIME position - modified day/evening hours: either 10:00 am-6:00 pm or 11:00 am-7:00 pm + every other weekend.
Pay: $35.00 - $42.00 per hour, dependent on post-license experience level. Generous extra pay for hours worked between 3:00-11:00 pm and weekends.
Responsibilities
As an RN on the Rehab floor at St. John’s, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our residents are living according to their desires. You will provide care that enhances residents' individual abilities and will also be a significant contributor to creating positive rehabilitation outcomes. You will also provide clinical services for admissions and discharges.
Qualifications
Current NYS RN license
Current NYS CPR certification
Minimum of one year of either acute or Rehab experience as RN
Previous experience with elder care desired
Technical expertise in e-charting, e-mail, Word
Leadership, organizational, and communication skills required
Required to attend full orientation (3 days in classroom + floor training)
Compliance with NYS Department of Health immunization requirements.
Physical Requirements
Stands, sits, and walks most of the day. Frequent moving and ability to lifting up to 50 lbs. Ability to perform activities as defined in skills check list.
Exposure to Conditions
May be exposed to infectious diseases, odors and psycho-behavioral situations
