Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center (MVRBC) is the exclusive provider of blood products and services to our partner hospitals in Illinois, Iowa, Missouri and Wisconsin. The Blood Center is based in Davenport, Iowa, where MVRBC’s testing, processing and primary distribution center of blood components. MVRBC is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization.

Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center (MVRBC) has a current opening for an Associate Donor Relations Consultant (ADRC) supporting our Burlington, IA location and surrounding areas. The focus of this position is the support of our Donor Relations Consultants and community partners to ensure a robust, lifesaving blood supply. MVRBC offers an opportunity to be a part of a dedicated team that makes us a recognized leader in the blood center industry.

This is a full-time position working 30 - 39 hours per week, Monday - Friday 1st shift, with occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekends. ADRC responsibilities can include:

  • Assist in preparation and distribution of blood drive materials to community partners.

  • Confirmation of blood drive scheduling to ensure a successful blood drive.

  • Public speaking opportunities to educate our communities on the importance of blood donation.

  • Interaction with our community partners.

Qualifications:

  • 2 years’ experience in a customer service role related to business to business sales.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office is required.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including public and small group speaking.
