ROLE PURPOSE

The Retail Business Development Manager is responsible for Research and qualification new Retail Markets across the EEMEA region. As Glory does not sell directly in these countries, the role is to Identify new channels and integration partners to enter each market segments and vertical sectors.

Glory Global Solutions has a unique range of solutions for Retail customers, and we are looking for an experienced Retail Business Development Manager (RBDM) who has expertise within the area of cash automation technology (hardware, software and consultative services). The RBDM will use their current knowledge and experience to develop new business within the marketplaces, including Acrelec, Ubiqular SW, Point of Sale cash automation and back-office cash management solutions.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

· Support and educate existing and new partners to execute Proof of Concepts (POC), Customer pilots and Return of Investment (ROI) justifications.

· Identifying and qualifying new retail business opportunities across all vertical market sectors and consult with customers on the best Glory products and solutions for their needs.

· Project manage customer pilots, and coordinate Glory team members and partner resources, to ensure projects remain on track, and achieve the results that will generate sales

· Provide training and best practice support to partners sales teams, who are focused on Retail.

· Support the Glory Sales and Marketing team with events to promote Glory Solutions as required.

· Formulation and execution of regional retail business plan for the achievement of associated revenue, profit targets and market growth.

· Leverage Glory Global customer agreements, to maximise sales in the region from these agreements Eg. Inditex, Hilton, McDonalds

· Identifying and appointing new distribution channels, POS providers and Tier 2 partners in the designated region.

· Maintain and develop existing distributor relationships to provide excellent customer service.

· Document all sales activity in CRM, manage the funnel and provide forecasts on a regular basis.

· Travel within geographic territory as required.

· Effectively utilize internal resources to provide appropriate and timely support to our customers and prospects.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

Education Level:

· Previous experience in retail business development role with an intentional remit.

· Proven success in growing Retail sales through working with customers to identify needs, propose solutions, run successful pilots and achieve volume sales

· Exemplary customer interaction and negotiation skills.

· Fluency in English and a second European language (Preferred).

Qualifications:

· High degree of commercial acumen.

· 5+ years experience of proven success selling Cash automation equipment.
