Top Daily Responsibilities: Execute and drive an ambitious research agenda, drawing on your own and the team’s technical expertise in a variety of areas (quantitative analysis, logs analysis, UI engineering, vision and behavioral science) to Client how users read and interact with the Search page, with an emphasis on how users perceive and interact with ads Identify, define, measure, and optimize drivers of user perception and sentiment towards ads. Guide product direction through compelling, research-driven insights and narratives. Advocate for users as the domain expert. Demonstrate excellent statistical and scientific judgement, producing rigorous results in a fast-paced environment. Effectively collaborate with product management, design, and engineering partners. Mandatory Skills/Qualifications: Strong Preference for someone with MS or PhD degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Statistics, or a related field. Knowledge of surveys, experimental design, data visualization, and statistical analysis If they do not have the educational qualifications listed above, a minimum of 5 years of experience is required with someone from a Tech/IT background who has worked with enterprise clients and has experience in behavioral science, social science, marketing research, or behavioral data science. Non-Essential Skills/Qualifications: Track record demonstrating excellent command of research questions within a given domain, and of technical tools for the analysis of data. Proficiency in programming computational and statistical algorithms for large data sets. Experience owning and delivering quantitative research or data science solutions and driving results. 1+ years of relevant work experience, especially with user experience teams.
