TITLE: QA Automation Engineer – WCG Clinical, Inc.

DUTIES: Design, develop, and optimize software testing methodologies and frameworks. Study and evaluate business and technical requirements of Trifectas software products. Contribute to a multifunctional team of software engineers to test and signoff on software solutions provided for customers. Design, develop, and execute test automation scripts using object-oriented frameworks including Selenium/Web driver, TestNG, Appium, Java-based tools and scripts based on customer specifications; document software defects using bug tracking systems and report defects to software developers to ensure the highest quality and accuracy; work closely with development team to learn the feature set from a white-box perspective; perform backend and service testing; track multiple test executions while delivering results in a timely manner; identify root-cause problems by eliminating and isolating variables. Perform quality assurance, software testing, utilizing SDLC; prepare test strategies and write test cases based on requirements, functional, or technical specifications; and perform quality assurance duties across multiple platforms. Determine best methods to Automate new features into existing fictional, regression, UAT suites. Run existing or new test automation scripts as needed, and analyze, as well as report, results. Position is eligible for 100% remote work.

SALARY RANGE: $109,949-$115,000

REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer, QA Analyst, Software Test Engineer or a related occupation, including one (1) year of post-baccalaureate experience testing iOS and Android applications on mobile and tablet hardware; testing HTML 5 applications on mobile and tablet hardware; testing enterprise level web sites or web applications using multiple browsers and browser versions; and utilizing JIRA, Mantis, or Test Case Management to create tickets and test software products. In lieu of a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Minimum of four (4) years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer, QA Analyst, Software Test Engineer or a related occupation, including two (2) years of post-baccalaureate experience testing iOS and Android applications on mobile and tablet hardware; testing HTML 5 applications on mobile and tablet hardware; testing enterprise level web sites or web applications using multiple browsers and browser versions; and utilizing JIRA, Mantis, or Test Case Management to create tickets and test software products. Position is eligible for 100% remote work.
