Job Description:

The Postdoctoral Research Associate will assist developing and implementing diverse research and educational programs related to farm and risk management, agricultural marketing, price analysis, and production economics.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist designing and conducting research and educational projects.

  • Communicate research outcomes through publications in professional journals, non-technical reports, and news releases.

  • Present research results at professional conferences and meetings.

  • Data collection and analysis.

  • Assist planning and organizing educational workshops, training sessions and field days.

  • Participate in the preparation of grant proposals.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Education:

Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics or related field

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Analytical skills involving data analysis using econometric and statistical techniques.

  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively in multidisciplinary teams.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience with programming languages and statistical computing packages such as R, MATLAB, SAS, etc.
