Overview/Purpose:

As a Microsoft Applications (Office 365, Entra Identity, and Azure DevOps) Administrator, you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient, secure, and smooth operation of our cloud infrastructure. Your role will be pivotal in supporting the company’s cloud strategy, enhancing user experience, and maintaining robust security protocols. This role is crucial for managing and optimizing our cloud-based infrastructure and services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the administration of Office 365 applications, managing identity and access through Entra Identity, and maintaining Azure DevOps processes and systems.

Responsibilities:

Office 365 Administration :

  • Administer and support Office 365 applications including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive.

  • Manage user accounts, licenses, and access while ensuring compliance with data governance policies.

  • Assist in migration projects and provide user training to enhance Office 365 adoption and usage.

    Entra Identity Management :

  • Administer Microsoft Entra Identity services, focusing on identity and access management.

  • Implement and maintain security measures such as Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Conditional Access policies.

  • Manage group memberships, user roles, and access permissions in line with organizational policies.

    Azure DevOps Administration :

  • Oversee Azure DevOps services, ensuring efficient project management, code repository management, and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Collaborate with development teams to optimize build and deployment processes.

  • Monitor Azure DevOps environments, ensuring high performance and availability.

    Security and Compliance Oversight :

  • Ensure adherence to industry and organizational security standards across all managed platforms.

  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to maintain security and compliance.

  • Liaise with the security team for cybersecurity initiatives and monitoring.

    Technical Support and Troubleshooting :

  • Provide advanced support for issues related to Office 365, Entra Identity, and Azure DevOps.

  • Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and guidelines.

  • Educate and support end-users in utilizing cloud-based tools effectively.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology , Computer Science, Information Technology , or a related field.

  • Relevant certifications in Microsoft technologies are preferred.

  • 3 to 5 years of experience

  • Proven experience in Office 365, Microsoft Entra Identity, and Azure DevOps administration.

  • Strong understanding of cloud services, security practices, and identity management.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively.

  • Proficiency in PowerShell or Azure CLI for scripting and automation.

  • Experience with cloud monitoring tools and technologies.

  • Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and incident management.

    Context/Scope:

    ​ The Office 365, Entra Identity (formerly Azure AD), and Azure DevOps Administrator role is a multifaceted position within an IT organization, catering to the efficient management and optimization of a range of critical cloud-based services and platforms. This role’s scope encompasses the comprehensive administration of Office 365 applications, ensuring that tools such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive are optimally configured, maintained , and utilized across the organization. A key aspect of the role involves managing Entra Identity, which is pivotal for robust identity and access management, securing user identities, and enforcing access policies to safeguard organizational resources. In addition, the role requires proficient handling of Azure DevOps, managing the lifecycle of software development projects, including source code repositories, build and release pipelines, and facilitating continuous integration and deployment processes.

Salary: $75,029 - $103,165
