MEDIA & COMPETITIVE INTELLIGENCE ACCOUNT SUPERVISOR

We're seeking a leader for our Intelligence practice group who will oversee and work in competitive and earned media reporting. As the Lead of Intelligence accounts, you'll provide comprehensive oversight and counsel to clients and your team, take the initiative and direct research and media monitoring for the client and its competitors' developments, proactive announcements, financial conferences, earnings releases, and crises.

You're the ideal candidate if you can identify implications of non-traditional events in the marketplace and develop effective and succinct updates for the C-suite audience. You'll need to be a skilled writer, highly detailed and have strong client management experience. You proactively enhance your work and strive for continued improvement.

You should be experienced in developing and managing people. This role requires organization, the ability to project manage and adaptability, as priorities will shift. Overseeing and working crises that may run into evenings and weekends is a requirement. Telecommunications or wireless network experience is highly desired.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in content analysis, media monitoring and reporting; preference for candidates with an agency background

  • 5+ years of client management experience

  • Proven experience developing teams and growing people

  • Platform experience required: News monitoring tools, such as Cision, Newswhip, TV Eyes and/or Critical Mention; adept at Excel and PowerPoint

  • Be able to effectively utilize intelligence and software tools to analyze and synthesize complex information

  • Proven ability to be proactive in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities and deadlines
