A Day in Your Life at MKS:

We are looking for an exceptional Master Data Management (MDM) Specialist to join our Business Process Management (BPM) and Master Data Management (MDM) Team, as part of the Global Supply Chain organization. This MDM Specialist will enforce various data rules for data attributes and ensures high level of data quality, integrity, availability, completeness, consistency, privacy and compliance to those rules by the data owners . They will work with our Supply Chain Team- procurement, category management, sourcing, materials, master scheduling and logistics.

You Will Make an Impact By:

  • Enforcing various data rules for data attributes and ensures high level of data quality, integrity, availability, completeness, consistency, privacy and compliance to those rules by the data owners.

  • Develop KPI framework.

  • Define Global data standards.

  • Coach Operating Units on an ongoing basis to improve adoption of data standards.

  • Support implementation of the global data standards in Operating Units.

  • Track key metrics related to Operating Unit compliance to global data standards and policies.

  • Support implementation of KPI framework

  • Demonstrate active ownership of master data domains such as Supplier & Items, processes, and procedures.

  • Maintain expertise on overall use of data, including the global data dictionary.

  • Facilitate governance over subsets of data to ensure quality across business processes through collaboration with Data Owners

Skills You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology or Supply Chain or related degree.

  • 5+ years of relevant MDM (Master Data Management) experience working in a diverse and global supply chain organization.

  • Experience implementing Data Governance & Master Data Management processes in medium to large enterprises, preferably in Manufacturing organizations.

  • Strong exposure to ERPs (Oracle EBS or SAP ECC) in a Manufacturing industry (Erick Pina-SAP for BP Spec)

  • Familiarity with Data Governance and Master Data Management tools.

  • Ability to define Data Governance and MDM roadmap working closely with business partners.

  • Expert level understanding of data life cycle management with ability to advise approaches and phases to implementing enterprise scale solutions.

  • Exposure to Data warehouse and Business Intelligence reporting

  • Bilingual English-Spanish is required

  • Strong documentation & presentation skills

  • Strong business relationships and understanding of IT systems inter-operability is essential.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • A self-starter with ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.

  • This is a Hybrid position with 3 days a week in the office.
