Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. Under minimal supervision, provide troubleshooting, repair maintenance, preventative maintenance and installation support for new and existing manufacturing equipment, and facility equipment. Provide on-line maintenance support. Apply knowledge of various trades such as electrical, mechanical, carpentry, painting, hydraulics and plumbing.

Shift: 2:00pm-10:00pm Monday- Friday

Duties

  • Provide maintenance and support.

  • Complete and update preventative maintenance system work orders for daily, weekly, monthly, and annual requirements. Provide technical support for audits.

  • Participate, as assigned, in the investigation of production related problems with mechanisms or processes and assist in the introduction of new or modified equipment or productions into production.

  • Detect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, and improper conditions to supervisor. As needed, assist with facilities maintenance, furniture moving, and set up for meetings.

  • Operates lifts, tow motors, jacks, hoists, as needed.

  • Assemble or modify fixtures, tooling, or equipment according to close tolerances (+/- 0.010”) from engineering sketches.

  • When necessary, set up, operate, and adjust production equipment to process materials for the assembly of new or existing products.

Education Degree

  • High School Diploma or GED

Required Experience

  • 3-5 years' experience with mechanical/electrical equipment repair required.

  • 1-2 years' experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment

  • Ability to perform preventative maintenance on various machines and properly document completed work in electronic tracking systems.

  • Aid supervisors and Engineering with troubleshooting equipment issues and with problem solving sessions.

  • Prefer forklift experience
