Job Title: Lead, Finance – Supplier Financial Analyst

Job Description:

  • Subcontract Financial Analyst supports proposal and program teams in conducting cost analysis, financial stability analysis, accounting and billing systems review, and close out of orders.

  • Analyzes supplier proposals to determine whether they are fair and reasonable through Cost/Price Analysis and documents the analysis for proposal and procurement purposes.

  • Performs financial stability analysis on potential suppliers, teammates, and customers to assess their financial stability and to determine the level of financial risk to L3Harris or the prospective business partner.

  • Reviews supplier business systems to ensure they are adequate for the proposed contract/subcontract type.

  • Coordinates Government assist audit requests of supplier proposals and final invoices.

  • Assists with subcontractor fact finding and negotiations.

  • Conducts subcontract direct and indirect rate reviews.

    Essential Functions:

  • Experience in analyzing complex supplier proposals

  • Understanding of the governing documents, FAR, DFAR and TINA.

  • Gather, analyze and effectively present and communicate information.

  • Experience in subcontract negotiation.

  • Demonstrated ability to meet critical deadlines.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.

  • Previous Financial Subcontracts Experience

    Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations) and CAS (Cost Accounting Standards)

  • Experience working with DCAA (Defense Contract Audit Agency) & DCMA (Defense Contract Management Agency)

  • Must have hands on experience in supporting of DCAA & DCMA audits and DFARS Business Systems.

  • Strong computer skills (PeopleSoft & Queries, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Hyperion experience a plus)

  • Proven proactive, self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Experience utilizing communication and interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of the organization

  • Must be detail oriented with good organizational skills and capable of multi-tasking
