Within our growing Business Development team, we have an immediate requirement for an experienced Inside Business Development Specialist to achieve successful growth and sales outcomes for the business. We are looking for a talented, highly motivated, and enthusiastic individual to deliver strong visual communication and compelling sales and proposal content. Previous sales experience is preferred – with a proven ability to lead successful proposal teams on complex, multi-million projects.

Responsibilities

  • Relationship building, connecting with sales and operations teams.

  • Developing account plans, pursuit plans, message creation and presentation development.

  • Distinctive value propositions -Lead and facilitate interactive workshops to understand client challenges and develop solutions.

  • Market & Account Strategy – Support internal stakeholders in key client activities, e.g., client, competitor & market research, development of Focus Client and market strategies.

  • Lead, develop and support Proposal responses and related materials.

  • Actively work with Sales and Operations to ensure the Client Success Platform (CSP) [Salesforce] is updated and current with opportunities and financials.

  • Sales Materials & Knowledge – Develop and maintain sales materials including project descriptions and collateral for Proposals and Marketing materials.

  • Promote MasTecs’ brand by working within Brand Guidelines for visual identity and brand voice.

  • Manage development and integration of tradeshows, conferences and memberships to include all coordination, advertising, public relations, and other campaigns to generate awareness and interest.

Qualifications

  • University degree or college diploma in marketing, business management or similar experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years of business development and or/ marketing experience.

  • Strong editorial skills, with a keen eye for consistency, accuracy, and detail.

  • Strong knowledge or business development strategies, concepts, and practices.

  • Exceptional project management and capture strategy skills.

  • Ability to develop strong relationships and work with senior level executives.

  • Effective time management, organizational and leadership skills.

  • Basic photo editing and graphic design skills; some experience working with design programs (Adobe InDesign/Photoshop, Canva, et); basic knowledge of HTML.

  • Flexible and able to work at high levels of execution under pressure.
