Description

VISTA Technology Services, Inc. (VISTA) is currently seeking an Infrastructure Services Project Manager to support our NAVSEA customer at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC. This is a hybrid position reporting onsite 3 days a week.

Responsibilities

The Project Manager will provide cradle to grave project management support including cost, schedule and performance to the Program Executive Office (PEO) Infrastructure Services (IS) portfolio Navy/USMC services owners. Additionally, they will:

  • Provide Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) lifecycle project management support to deliver on time, within budget, and meet the performance requirements

  • Utilize a combination of traditional project management and Agile methodology to manage planning, scheduling, execution and delivery of IT projects in a changing and fast pace environment

  • Develop statements of objectives (SOO) to meet government requirements

  • Review vendor proposals within infrastructure services project areas

  • Develop program baselines and identify program risks

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to anticipate, mitigate, implement and deliver migration plans and infrastructure solutions to resolve risks and conflicts across workstreams, including all required documentation and programmatic inputs

  • Continually evaluate and access project status and provide project metrics reports and briefings

  • Utilize ServiceNow to streamline project management and process development

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of demonstrated experience in DoD IT Program Management and Acquisition Management for ACAT programs across the acquisition lifecycle OR Associate’s Degree and 9 years of experience; 11 years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree

  • Knowledge of technical concepts, best practices, and developing client solutions required

  • Proven IT project management experience using combination of traditional project management and Agile methodology in DoD IT environment

  • Experience developing IT program baselines and project SOOs

  • Experience reviewing and accessing project status and developing project metrics reports and briefings

  • Experience working with cross functional teams to identify and resolve risks and conflicts across workstreams

  • Strong leadership skills, experienced in managing complex, cross-functional projects, preferably within the defense or government sectors

  • Proficient using project management tools and software. ServiceNow experience helpful

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable with and skilled at collaborating with cross-functional teams and interacting with senior and government personnel

  • Active DoD Secret clearance required
