DGR Systems LLC Infrastructure Engineer - Active Directory in United States

DGR Systems, a growing premier technology consulting company, is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join our highly competent team for a current engagement. This position requires an individual who is highly motivated, detail-oriented, knowledgeable of best practices associated with Active Directory solutions, incessantly client-focused and has excellent communication and presentation skills.

We have a unique opportunity to assist a customer in linking Active Directory with a new ERP System. The immediate focus will be the analysis of current Active Directory data requiring analysis via PowerShell scripting, to prepare the data to determine attributes for creating security groups and role alignment.

Following this engagement, this individual will work with customers, partners, engineers, and sales teams to provide high-quality and tailored services to customers. Candidate should bring both the experience and business acumen of a professional along with a growth mindset and passion for continuous learning to bring the best solutions to our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for supporting the solution planning of Active Directory, Identity and Access Management (e.g. Okta), and related solutions.

  • Deliver high-quality work in both large-scale project environments and smaller, single-staffed engagement models.

  • Assist with the analysis of customer business needs and proposed solutions during presales efforts.

  • Promote best practices in terms of both processes and deliverables.

  • Maintain specific knowledge of customer environments and how our services relate to business strategy and goals.

  • Collaborate with the appropriate internal teams to support the development of and maintain a technology plan that supports the customer's needs.

  • Manage escalation internally to ensure appropriate servicing of customer needs.

  • Assess and communicate risks associated with technology-related investments and purchases.

  • Ensure consistency of existing systems by enforcing standards and procedures for implementing technical solutions.

Requirements

Maintain knowledge of many of the following:

  • Active Directory Core Services

  • Active Directory Replication

  • Active Directory GPOs

  • Active Directory OU Design

  • Active Directory Objects

  • The ability to write PowerShell scripts/modules to support the collection and processing of Active Directory objects on a large scale.

  • Identity and Access Management Solutions (OKTA would be a plus)Active Directory Federation Services

  • SAML Authentication

  • Kerberos Authentication

  • Single Sign-On

  • Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML), OpenID (OIDC), Open Authentication (OAuth)

  • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) (e.g. Microsoft MFA, Cisco Duo, Thales SafeNet, and RSA SecurID)

Experience in delivering IT solutions as a consultant or technology team member within an organization.

Experience implementing cloud-based security policies and procedures, control standards, and operational practices.

A professional, business-focused attitude and courteous manner toward customers, partners, and peers.

Ability to assist in the development of architecture design deliverables that map customer business requirements to solutions and technologies.

High emotional intelligence to be able to work in stressful situations ensuring quality outcomes.

Must be incessantly focused on ensuring the quality of the client experience.

Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
