POSITION SUMMARY

The Receptionist is responsible for providing clerical support for the Human Resources Department and performing duties as the facility operator.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Answer and directs calls for the faciliy.

  • First point of contact for the facility; greet and direct visitors.

  • Provide assistance to applicants on the application process.

  • Distribute daily mail; prepare mail for postal service.

  • Distribute payroll checks.

  • Provide clerical support to include, filing, making copies/labels, badges, and ordering supplies.

  • Regular attendance and timeliness in reporting to work, meetings and completing assignments.

  • Ability to work and interact well with others.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Perform special projects as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma or GED required.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years customer service experience.

Required Skills:

  • Basic PC skills

  • Basic organizational skills

  • Ability to handle telephone communication in a fast, friendly and efficient manner.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Preferred Skills: Associate’s Degree
