Job Description

As a program manager, you are responsible for planning, designing, executing and monitoring every aspect of multiple projects in scope. You will also be accountable for overseeing all projects taking place in HR offering a PMO service and identifying resource issues and constraints.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct the program planning activities and manage the execution of resources, deliverables according to plan.

  • Budget planning and cost management

  • Support in evaluating complex situations accurately and identifying viable solutions that create successful outcomes.

  • Manage the conflicting priorities of the projects, identifying any risks.

  • Manage relationships with project stakeholders, both internal and external

  • keep stakeholders informed of progress and issues to manage expectations on all project requirements and deliverables.

  • Manage and communicate a clear vision of the project’s objectives and motivate the project team to achieve them.

  • Ensure proper use of methodology, tools, and procedures as agreed at the beginning of the project.

  • Analyse risk, establish contingency plans and identify trigger events and responsibilities for initiating mitigating action.

  • Perform Project Management Reviews with the team and mentor other project managers on project management methodology, standards, and processes.

  • Maintain project documentation and updates to internal reporting; analyse lessons learned and share with the projects.

  • Participate in the development of project management best practices.

  • Run testing cycles with the business reporting on status throughout the process

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 4 years of system project management preferrable in HR Systems implementation

  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management across cross-functional teams.

  • Demonstrated expertise in creating and maintaining project deliverables such as project charters, project management plans, status reports, project timesheets, communications plans, budgets, and schedules.

  • Demonstrated experience in managing issues, scope and quality while bringing projects to successful completion within the cost and time requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least one of the following certifications: Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, project management, design thinking.
