Position

Under the responsibility of the Director of Finance, the Financial Controller will be responsible for the preparation of the operational reporting to drive the business, ensuring reliability of information provided. Responsible for preparing budgets, forecast, and month end reporting. Establish financial policies, procedures, internal controls, and reporting systems to minimize the financial risk and guide the financial decisions. Identify areas of improvement, benchmark, define action plans and be accountable with deliverables. Will be responsible for conducting periodic meetings to review results and indicators (KPIs) with the management team, while educating employees, implementing and enforcing policies and procedures (internal audits of systems and processes).

Production & Financial Control

Prepare Texas budgets by establishing schedules, collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data (productivity, material consumption and destruction, freight and duties costs, indirect expenses, investments and material, where applicable) Insure the reliability and regular update in the ERP (JDE) system of the budget data by product (accurate costing of technical data). Prepare and document the monthly profit and loss and other operational KPIs for Texas Perform variance analysis (actual results vs. budget) for variable and fixed costs Monitors and confirms financial condition by conducting audits Perform product costing variance analysis Monitor the inventory coverage, evaluate the risk of material obsolescence dimension of the depreciation fund, and supervise the material destruction process Measure and analyze production performance on a daily, weekly and monthly basis Provide assistance and guidance to plant managers in the resolution of cost, inventory management, and budget issues Monitors projects related to cost reduction and consumption optimization (inventory discrepancies, replacements) Ensures compliance with corporate policies and procedures, development and distribution of various reports and provides general advice to plant managers Participates in improvement projects within the company Prepare cost benefits analysis of local manufacturing, facilitate product pricing decisions, prepare the final price sheet during the new products development phase Monitor the new products ramp-up phase and ensure the achievement of the planned targets Liaise with CA Finance Department to reconcile, analyze, share data, and ensure accuracy of overall financial reporting Performs other duties as assigned and/or dictated by business needs

Reporting

Provide information to Director of Finance and management by assembling and summarizing data: prepare reports and presentations of findings and recommendations on how to improve the actual status vs. budget (production cost, materials, efficiency, indirect costs) Monitor capital expenditures and G&A vs. budget with monthly reporting to the Leadership Team Update the budget in the Group Reporting system (Syrus) Work with local team to create new vendors, create POs and follow up with approvals/appeals

Profile

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Managerial Accounting focus desired; manufacturing and costing background highly preferred Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, manufacturing industry preferred Strong analytical skills, attentive to detail and accuracy Capability to develop statistics and actions plans, implement them and insure the achievement of the goals Ability to meet communicated schedules and deadlines; Team oriented, excellent communication and interpersonal skills; challenge the status quo to improve overall performance Possesses high values, integrity, and strong initiative Demonstrated ability to work independently and to multi-task, highly organized and analytical Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, advanced excel knowledge is required (Macro and Visual basic), Access is preferred Knowledge of JDE One World, Vigilens reporting, and SAP Ability to work in a fast paced, results-oriented, and continually changing environment French language working knowledge is a plus
