ERP IMPLEMENTATION INTERN - ROLE OVERVIEW

Are you a student looking for hands-on experience implementing an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system? Join our team as a NetSuite ERP Implementation Intern! As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work with various departments within our company, depending on your degree and interests. Your primary focus will be assisting with the implementation of our new NetSuite ERP system. This position supports Kwik Lok production activities through the manufacture of Kwik Lok closures with a focus on continuing improvement of quality, food safety, and manufacturing processes.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND RESULTS

  • Assist with data input and correction to ensure accurate information in the system

  • Collaborate with team members to fine-tune processes for improved efficiency

  • Troubleshoot issues in NetSuite and suggesting possible root causes for further research

  • Support departmental catch-up efforts to maintain workflow

  • Participate in team meetings and contributing ideas to improve ERP implementation

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Basic understanding of business processes (SOPs, ERPs, workflows, data driven decision making, etc.)

  • Education: Currently enrolled in bachelor's degree or master's degree program

  • Knowledge required: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, ERP familiarity a plus!

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background screening

ALL THE DETAILS…

  • Pay commensurate with experience: $18.00/hour for undergraduate students, $21.00/hour for graduate students

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 20 hours per week minimum, opportunity to work full-time based on company need and intern availability. Schedule determined based on assigned department.

  • Insurance/Retirement benefits – only eligible for full-time interns

  • Insurance benefits – Medical, dental, vision, prescription, life, and disability insurance plans (60-day waiting period)

  • Paid time off: (90-day waiting period, prorated for first fiscal year)

  • Holidays: 64.5 hours a year (8.5 days): 1 Floating Holiday, New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and the Friday following, half day on Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day

  • Sick Leave: 40 hours a year, accrued at 1 hour per 40 hours worked

  • Work location: In office in Yakima, Washington (this position is NOT eligible for remote or hybrid work arrangements)

  • Work environment: Office setting. Noise level in office environment 10dB, 85-95 dB in production environment. Constantly hearing, seeing, and talking. Occasionally bends, squats, reaches, kneels, and may lift up to 40 lbs. on occasion. Constantly seeing, hearing, talking.
