Overview of the Position:

Perform maintenance on commercial aircraft components. Works to ensure that customer orders are completed within the Repair Group's standards and procedures by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Qualified on several units and can work independently.

  • Ensure work is performed in accordance with the operations policy and procedure, including daily verification that all aircraft related material in area is properly identified, maintained, preserved, and segregated.

  • Ensure the data being used to perform maintenance and alteration tasks is current per the repair station requirements.

  • Record the work performed on the appropriate maintenance record.

  • Perform the necessary research to assure that technical data and manuals are current and appropriate for associated tasks.

    Education / Experience Requirements: High school diploma or GED required. Prefer some related college courses, certificate or associate degree. Minimum two years’ related experience and/or training. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Language Skills : Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.     Mathematical Skills : Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

    Reasoning Ability : Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
