JEVS Human Services Direct Care Worker - Chalfont (Weekends) in United States

JEVS is one of the largest non-profits in the Philadelphia area.

We are looking for dedicated, compassionate individuals to join the JEVS Team.

We are hiring for FULL-TIME & PART-TIME Direct Care Workers – $15.50 per hour!

Job Overview:

  • Work in a home with up to three adults with disabilities.

  • Help individuals with disabilities with daily life, including cleaning, feeding, and shopping.

  • Take individuals to community events, including volunteer opportunities.

Some of the obstacles of working in Direct Care

  • Unpredictability is part of each day when providing care for those we support.

  • Our homes are 24/7, which means that weekends and holidays will be part of scheduling.

  • While contributing to the success of the lives of those that we support, it can sometimes be taxing on our own bodies and minds.

  • High School Diploma/GED

  • Valid driver’s license is a must

The base pay for this position is $15.50 per hour!. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation that JEVS Human Services provides to recognize employees for their work.
