ManTech DevOps Engineer in United States

ManTech is seeking a DEVOPS Engineer that will work remotely on delivering Digital Engineering Environments and Software Factories to both internal and external ManTech Customers. As part of ManTech’s Intelligent Systems Engineering (ISE) practice, the corporation provides systems and software engineering tools to users to execute direct work for Customers and internal capability and solution development. For external customers we deliver fully operational Systems and Software environments built from the ground up to meet customer constraints and objectives.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:

  • Work closely with the VP of ISE, Digital Engineering Environment Lead, SW Factory Lead and other ManTech IT professionals to architect, design and deploy Digital Engineering Environments and SW Factories for use by ManTech team members, Customers, and other partners.

  • Leverage COTS, GOTS, and internal scripts as necessary to build up tools to support multiple data fabrics and ManTech’s Intelligent Systems Engineering processes, methods, and tools.

  • Architect, design, deploy, integrate, and maintain on-prem and cloud environments to COTS and GOTS system and software engineering tools

  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • US Citizenship required

  • Bachelor’s degree and 4 or more years of related experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

  • Experience managing Linux-based virtual servers in a cloud environment, including strong familiarity with Linux command line administration.

  • Experience using Terraform and Ansible for automation.

  • Experience managing Kubernetes (EKS, Rancher)

  • Experience building and maintaining software pipelines and deployments (Gitlab CI/CD, Jenkins, ArgoCD)

  • Experience deploying and configuring security tools (SAST/DAST, Container scanning/hardening)

  • Broad DevOps experience

  • Proven ability to work effectively and collaborate as part of a distributed, remote-first team.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to independently execute work tasks in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.

  • Strong written, communication, and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Four (4) years of Cloud Engineering experience on a major cloud service provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and Master’s Degree OR PhD

  • Cloud certifications including AWS Certified Solution Architect

  • Experience with Agile and/or familiarity with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

  • Experience with Jira and Confluence

  • Experience or familiarity with administration of model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools, including Cameo, Teamwork Cloud, GENESYS

  • Experience or familiarity with administration of requirements management (RM) tools, including DOORS Next, Jama, or Innoslate

  • Exposure to multidisciplinary analysis and optimization tools (Model Center, Simulia, etc.)

  • Exposure or familiarity with various analytical and decision aid tools (e.g. MatLab, STK, etc.)

Clearance Requirements

  • No clearance is required to start however, must be willing to obtain and maintain a security clearance if needed

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time

  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer

  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

The projected compensation range for this position is $90,200-$149,600. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
