Our Aerospace client is looking for Contract Specialist in Wichita, KS Description: Candidate will administer multiple contractual commitments for commercial aircraft, fabrication of parts, data, and services provided by the company Candidate will coordinate and prepare weekly reports to be provided to executive leadership Candidate will prepare and/or participate in the preparation of contractual/agreement documents, nondisclosure agreements, proposals (including ground rules and assumptions), terms and conditions risk assessments, Candidate will administer Purchase Order (PO) management and invoicing and audit support Candidate will be working in a team environment, interacting with multiple disciplines and multiple levels of leadership, providing contractual and strategic guidance, establishing effective long-term customer relationships (internal and external), and meeting commitments to ensure customer satisfaction Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field and/or 2 years’ related experience Experienced in the contract life cycle including proposals, negotiations, drafting, administration, and closeout of contracts Ability to identify, assess and recommend mitigation for commercial risk inherent in a contract and present to leadership Strong oral, written, and presentation skills Proven ability to work with stakeholders across multiple Business Units and geographical regions Ability to manage multiple priorities and effectively work multiple simultaneous assignments in a fast-paced environment Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Preferred Qualifications: Strategic thinker and be able to identify and mitigate potential contract risks when reviewing terms and conditions Experience supporting Aerospace contracting and program management is preferred Experience with FAR/DFARs is a plus.
