Vectorworks Architect Intern (Remote, Hybrid options) in United States

Do you have a passion for design, technology, and marketing? Would you like to create captivating CAD software demonstrations that impact designers' workflows globally?

You will collaborate with a dynamic team to stay on top of industry trends and bring fresh, innovative perspectives to the field of architecture design. Use your creativity and design skills to create 3d models, presentation boards, and visuals for a range of marketing assets and social media.

The Product Marketing team creates 3D models, instructional videos, and marketing materials that showcase designs and best practices to potential customers. They are thought leaders presenting ideas to architects and designers while researching new industry trends and collecting feedback for future Vectorworks releases.

During this Internship, You Will:

  • Learn to use and design in Vectorworks software.

  • Use your creativity to craft 3D models and marketing assets showcasing Vectorworks features.

  • Replicate your own projects using Vectorworks to try to push the boundaries of what the software can do.

  • Create presentation boards and visuals from sample files.

  • Stay updated on and research industry trends.

Here is What Success Looks Like:

  • Proficiency in 3D modeling tools such as Vectorworks, SketchUp, Rhino, Revit, and/or AutoCAD.

  • A background in design, marketing, or related disciplines.

  • Proven written and graphic communication skills.

  • Learning agility, positive attitude, and teamwork mindset.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Prior experience with Vectorworks software is a plus but not required!

2024 Internship Session:

Summer: June 10 - Aug. 16

The ultimate goal of our internship program is to provide students with a learning and training experience that will allow them the opportunity to apply the skills learned in the classroom in a professional work environment. Although, we would like to offer interns the opportunity to join our workforce on a full-time basis, an offer for a full-time position after an internship is not guaranteed.

Eligibility Requirements for Internships:

  • Spring & Fall internships require 16-20 hours of work per week. Summer is 40 hours per week.

  • You must be at least 18 years of age, enrolled in an undergraduate program in your Sophomore, Junior, or Senior year.

  • This is a paid internship, and compensation will be based on the applicant's qualifications. We currently do not provide housing, relocation, or transportation reimbursement. This is an on-site position.

  • Interns are not eligible for company benefits.
