Description

VISTA Technology Services, Inc. (VISTA) is seeking an Acquisition Logistics Analyst III to support our DISA PEO Cyber Portfolio customer located at Ft. Meade, MD. This is a remote position. The successful candidate will be part of a highly professional results-oriented portfolio acquisition management team supporting portfolio cost, schedule and lifecycle logistics planning and sustainment.

Requirements:

  • Provide acquisition portfolio management support including governance, planning, and managing government IT resources

  • Analyze and resolve a wide variety of acquisition, operational, and sustainment risks including costs, schedule, lifecyle planning and performance for IT hardware, software and licensing assets

  • Provide requirement analysis, acquisition and procurement, lifecycle asset management, develop long-term logistics lifecycle planning strategy and planning documentation, inventory management and asset audit reporting

  • Perform a variety of logistics tasks including the design, implementation, operation, and performance of logistics functions, including supply chain, acquisition, distribution, transportation, warehousing, training, and operations and maintenance

  • Analyze workflows applying and performing logistics support that affect production, distribution, and inventory

  • Assist with inventory management reporting and record keeping in compliance with agency governance and practices

  • Quality oversight for timeliness, artifact/records, and reporting, using computer-based portals and information repositories

  • Responsible for the review and validation of information pertaining to logistics operations

  • Must be customer focused in tracking and maintaining accurate and timely records and tasks

  • Develop and present management briefings and presentations to senior leadership

  • Works independently and actively works with portfolio team to anticipate needs

  • Effectively communicates with cross functional teams and develops strong working relationships with portfolio team and across PEO Cyber Portfolio Management team to identify and resolve issues and provide risk mitigation guidance and recommendations

  • Detail-oriented and able to assess issues and develop resolutions to meet project/program goals and objectives

  • Effectively manage multiple tasks

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree and 10 years of relevant DoD acquisition logistics portfolio management experience or High School diploma and 14 years of DoD acquisition logistics portfolio management experience in lieu of degree

  • DoD / federal acquisition logistics experience managing cost, schedule and performance as well as developing acquisition documentation and developing logistics plans in compliance with DoD 5000 acquisition directives

  • Experience providing acquisition portfolio management support to DoD / federal executive office customer

  • Familiar with extensive demands for logistic support and operations for IT or electronic systems to include: logistics principles, practices, and processes

  • Familiar with DTMT (DISA Task Management Tool) and DPAS (Defense Property Accounting System)

  • Proficiency using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) MS Teams and SharePoint

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance required
