Oracle General Manager, NetSuite in Taiwan

Job Description

We are expanding our NetSuite sales team in Taiwan and therefore looking for enthusiastic and motivated sales leader with strong business acumen and exceptional sales ability to join our winning team.

Reporting to the VP of Sales of Greater China, the GM is a mission-critical sales leadership role at NetSuite, tasked with building, leading and growing the platform sales team in Taiwan, and will play a central role in expanding NetSuite--s commercial footprint within local market.

Ideal candidates will have proven track record of success selling and/or managing teams selling enterprise applications/SaaS and should be able to comprehend and articulate core cloud principles to customers, prospects, partners, and internal stakeholders.

The primary purpose of the GM position is to consistently attain targeted revenue goals and set the vision and strategy for the sales team. In order to accomplish these goals, the GM must develop comprehensive Market Unit sales plans to address: growth in all revenue streams, team and individual objectives, performance standards and team priorities. The GM leads a team of high performing Sales Executives.

What you’ll do:

  • Define strategies and act to generate long-term and short-term customer success and business results.

  • Work as a second-line Manager to lead and manage sales team of about 7 salespersons and potentially expand to 14 salespersons to successfully achieve quarter goals

  • Manage team performance and conduct coaching or training if necessary.

  • Develop strategic sales plans for achieving annual quota and business growth by hitting your monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets.

  • Established relationships with services partners.

  • Engage with prospective clients to position Oracle NetSuite solutions via electronic and face-to-face customer meetings; Prospect, consult and sell business application solutions and related services to prospective new mid-market business customers; Work with your prospects to learn their business, understand their needs and determine how the NetSuite solution can best address their issues; Build successful customer relationship/ partnership and success references in Taiwan Market

  • Capable to maintain Sales forecast accuracy and consistency with in-depth account coverage, deal management and win plan. Be able to effectively and efficiently use internal system to manage pipeline and forecast.

  • Strategic Leadership – leverage and Orchestrate available internal and external resources including solution consulting, professional services, marketing, industry experts and management to drive success of GTM and Sales execution with Objective to over-achieve quota.

Responsibilities

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • A minimum of 15 years sales experience in enterprise application sales with at least 5 plus years managing a high performing sales team that had a track record of exceeding sales targets.

  • Demonstrated success in scaling sales and achieving revenue targets, preferably within a high-growth environment. Experience in rapidly growing a customer base and driving substantial revenue growth is highly valuable

  • Extensive background in application and SaaS sales, coupled with a robust understanding of the competitive landscape and a comprehensive knowledge of the SaaS market in Taiwan.

  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate and expand a sales team.

  • Ability to build reciprocal relationships with different parts of the business, partners and customers and identifies synergies across LOBs and acts on opportunities to integrate business, with credibility at all levels, including Lines of Business and CxO.

  • Tenacious and extremely results driven. You want to be at the top of the leader board and hate losing. We are looking for quota killer, not quota achievers;

  • ERP Solutions sales experience is a definite plus;

  • Be capable and experienced selling to C-level executives and senior management at mid-market-sized accounts; Be able to lead strategic discussion with C-level leaders.

  • Be eager to acquiring/applying industry expertise successfully in sales cycles; and continue learner.

  • Someone who has been recognized for his/her performance and received additional responsibilities and/or promotions;

  • Very strong communication and presentation skills;

  • Mature Emotional Quality, be able to take stress and handle tough business case.

  • You care about creating success for your customer and promote them into happy and reference able clients.
