Responsibilities

OFD Product Manager/Analyst

The candidate will be responsible to support investment justification, pricing, structuring and presentation of OFD solutions to OFD sellers. As well as participate in analyzing and developing new OFD cloud offerings and payment structures for global/local solutions. The candidate will gain in-depth knowledge of OFD’s global business model as well as Oracle’s sales and business practices over time in this position. This position will leverage the candidate’s quantitative skills, financial and business acumen.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Support OFD sales real-time in pricing, structuring, and OFD responses to live deals.

  • Assist with pricing and structuring questions including how to use pricing tools and resources.

  • Train OFD sales to enable self-help.

  • Track and report on trends for OFD pricing and structure tool enhancement.

  • Develop OFD pricing/payment tools for global/local solutions

  • Create templates and tools based on learnings from deal traffic.

  • Learn and share best practices in support of OFD Sales activities.

  • Provide expertise on OFD's financial value propositions.

  • Develop expertise and assist OFD sales with OFD’s financial value methodologies.

  • Collaborate with OFD sales and assist on develop sales playbooks

  • Develop detailed understanding of OFD’s global business model and practices.

  • Analyze and help develop new OFD cloud offerings and payment structures for global/local solutions.

  • Work ad-hoc projects related to sales readiness and operational systems.

Job Requirements

Ideally the candidate will have a finance background with sales and operations experience. Candidate should be strong business oriented person with knowledge of financial and accounting concepts and agility to move between tasks and strategic work.

  • At least 5 years of work experience in financial/quantitative analysis

  • Prefer MBA with focus in finance

  • MS Excel modeling skills

  • Required: Fluent in English and Japanese (speaking and writing)

  • Proven quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Must be detailed oriented with good written and communication skills.

  • Candidate having experience with vendor finance a plus

  • Ability to navigate within an unstructured environment and work on multiple projects.

  • The position will require a ramp-up period so a self-starter with ability to quickly learn new topics with and without supervision is a must.

  • Willingness to follow, yet challenge process and methods to better achieve goals.
