fusionSpan Senior Java Developer in El Salvador

fusionSpan (http://www.fusionspan.com/) is a fast-growing multinational information technology services company, and we are seeking a Senior Java Developer to join the team remotely or at our Headquarters in Rockville, MD.

We are a team of highly committed individuals who are inspired by the role technology plays in society. 

This job is 100% remote across Latin America and aligns with the EST timezone.

Part of the Engineering team, the Senior Java Developer will work on developing custom applications, integrating various IT systems, and working on Salesforce implementation projects. This is a client-facing role, where you will be working with multiple non-profit organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Application development with Java or APEX 

  • Design and develop web services with SOAP and REST API's

  • Develop detailed software design documentation and API documentation

  • Application development with a JavaScript framework like React or similar

  • Work on cutting-edge technologies like Big Data, reliable messaging frameworks & ETL 

  • Do client showcases and demonstrations of developed solutions

    Required:

  • 3+ Years of experience in Java, Apex or other Object Oriented programming

  • Software design and architecture experience is desirable

  • Experience with a public cloud like AWS/Azure

  • Experience with a middleware platform like MuleSoft/Tibco/Boomi

  • Experience with APIs, Rest and/or SOAP web services

  • Familiarity with web or database application development and strong in SQL

  • Experience in Agile development methodology/Scrum
