Google Strategy and Operations Associate, Commercial Programs in Singapore

For Singapore, Google will be prioritizing applicants who have a current right to work in Singapore, and do not require Google's sponsorship of a visa.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 2 years of experience in a management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital or private equity role, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Advanced business acumen and knowledge of digital advertising, in particular relating to B2B incentive programs and design.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving and ambiguous environment.

  • Excellent problem solving and project management skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively.

  • Excellent communicator.

The APAC Commercial Programs Go-To-Market team is responsible for the strategic design, stewardship, and operationalization of commercial programs for the Large Customer Sales (LCS) APAC business.

As a Strategy and Operations Associate, you will be responsible for supporting the development of commercial program strategy, governing a subset of programs, and triaging issues from sales teams in order to enable efficient and effective execution.

In this role, you will partner closely with sales teams across APAC in addition to other functional teams such as Legal, Finance, and Compliance. You will utilize a growth mindset and be energized by complex business problems.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

  • Support the development and execution of go-to-market strategies, designed to encourage sustainable activation of commercial programs for the APAC region.

  • Triage issues from sales teams to deliver efficient execution of commercial programs. Leverage insights to build feature requests/bug reports and partner with global teams to deploy changes to tools and programs in a timely manner.

  • Support the development of relevant collateral to enable business to clearly articulate commercial program value propositions.

  • Apply and uphold governance/aptitude on mature commercial programs, including incentives.

  • Contribute positively to a collaborative and innovative team culture.
