Google Partner Technology Manager, Media and Platform Operations in Singapore

Google will be prioritizing applicants who have a current right to work in Singapore, and do not require Google's sponsorship of a visa.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Experience working with client-side web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP).

  • Experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).

  • Experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree, MBA, or other advanced degree.

  • Experience with internet video technologies (e.g., Digital Rights Management [DRM] solutions, video or audio codecs, live streaming, SFTP delivery, etc.).

  • Ability to engage effectively in customer-facing or partner-facing roles, and familiarity with the Indonesian internet and media ecosystems.

  • Ability to understand complex technical concepts, and adapt to the level of communication to suit the audience’s understanding.

  • Excellent project management skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work well in a cross-functional team environment.

  • Ability to communicate in Bahasa Indonesia fluently to collaborate with colleagues and complete tasks and projects.

As the Partner Technology Manager (PTM) on the Partner Technology Operations team, you will responsible for owning the technical relationship with YouTube's content partners. This involves working with and debugging technology-centric operational issues (such as automating manual processes to minimize human error) that partners have, identifying technology-driven strategies for these partners to achieve their business objectives, and also create internal tools and data pipelines (for Partnerships and cross-functional teams) to ensure product/business vertical operational efficiency.
