Tradeweb APAC Payroll Lead in Singapore
Summary:
In this role, you will be responsible for expert support and service delivery for the APAC region payrolls and time & attendance programs. Viewed as a regional payroll expert you will have a strategic role leading the compliance, productivity and efficiency of payroll and time & attendance systems and processes. Organizes knowledge sharing to convey information about new approaches and best practices. Leverages expertise to influence a range of stakeholders and other providers to ensure delivery of strategic priorities.
Payroll Processing:
Responsibility for the quality delivery of multiple countries payroll processes, time & attendance, within the APAC region.
Oversees the management, documentation and communication of regional payroll programs, policies, and procedures.
Validate and reconcile payroll data processing including the calculation of wages, deductions, and payment of employees’ wages
Ensures appropriate definition of payroll schedules, special processing planning and documentation of business and local requirements.
Manage regional employee records such as tax documents and employee files
Have a sound knowledge of international benefits and how they impact payroll
Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll data of all employees in APAC region.
Compliance:
Stay updated with local payroll laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements across APAC region countries.
Ensure payroll tax and regulatory reporting requirements across multiple international jurisdiction for employees and employer
Facilitate and gather requirements for year-end reporting and processing
Collaboration and Communications:
Create positive relationships with Finance, HRIT, HRBP's and other key functions to ensure holistic delivery of payroll outcomes.
Assist with internal and external audit requests, and annual SOX requirements
Manages payroll queries from employees, managers and HR teams in a timely, and professional manner. Correctly administers payroll processes. Manages service delivery metrics in relation to payroll.
System and Data Management:
Work closely with payroll transformation team and HRIS team to ensure payroll system are up to date and accurate.
Support all internal and external integrations, investigate data feed issues and implement on-going reconciliation processes including testing and upgrades
Assist the payroll transformation team effort to build a 'catching' organization during our transition to new payroll platform, define immediate and future support needs, and operational frameworks.
Qualifications/Requirements:
This role requires significant experience with APAC payrolls compliance
This role requires at least 6 years of experience working with APAC payrolls
Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise with HCM and payroll systems
Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
Good Excel, Word and PowerPoint; quick adaptability to systems, tools and processes.
Strong oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated skill in judgement to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems
Ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders.
Ability to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations.
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
Ability to work independently and effective communicator.
Eye for detail, confidence to challenge and ask questions
