Vectrus Quality Auditor in Qatar

Overview

Responsible for the Internal Audit Program to include scheduling and guiding Department Auditors through process audits. Coordinate all Internal Operating Procedure and Project Order changes with program management and Vectrus Systems Corporation Quality Management Office. Responsible for reporting program performance based metrics using sophisticated charting techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Perform duties IAW established policies and standard procedures.

  • Audit processes and monitor discrepancies until resolution.

  • Develop, review and report audit results.

  • Write process documentation (i.e. Internal Operating Procedures and Work Instructions)

  • Act as POC for action items related to audit discrepancies or other process related activities.

  • Support and exercise process improvement methodologies including Value Based Lean Six-Sigma.

  • Assist personnel in the understanding and use of process improvement tools, architecture, and related assets.

  • Manages the intranet document QMS control site by ensuring document creation/revisions are reviewed and controlled.

  • Manage and report performance based metrics for the program.

  • Makes recommendations for corrective actions.

  • Provide guidance for ISO compliance.(ISA 9001:2008)

  • Provide training and support to Internal Auditors.

  • Routine status reporting and staff leadership meeting attendance.

  • Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications

  • Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Must be able to obtain Qatar Driver’s License.

  • VBSS Green Belt Certification desired.

  • ISO 2001:2008 Internal Auditor training & certification or equivalent

  • Experience:

  • Must be able to demonstrate an understanding of Six Sigma/Lean methods, two or more years in a position where tools and techniques were employed is desirable.

  • Must be able to demonstrate an understanding of ISO (International Standards Organization) 9001-2008.

  • Three to five years direct experience as an internal auditor on a program.

  • Skills:

  • Proficient with MS Office software tool suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) as well as excellent oral, written and presentation skills.

  • Fluent in English as exemplified in writing and in verbal skills.

  • Working Environment:

  • Job assignments will involve the conduct of work in out-of-doors areas with exposure to extreme climatic conditions. Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in certain areas. Such PPE includes but is not limited to head, foot, hand, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices. Must comply with OSHA, EPA, Fire and Safety Regulations and published company work rules.

  • Must be able to interact well with fellow employees and maintain a clean living environment while living in shared housing. Individual may be required to execute temporary duty travel as required including but not limited to conferences and training.
