Vectrus HVAC Ductwork Mechanic in Qatar
Overview
Under the supervision of the PWD HVAC Leadership, the HVAC Ductwork Mechanic provides maintenance, repair, and replacement of ductwork for heating, refrigeration, and air conditioning equipment using knowledge of fabrication of ductwork, refrigeration theory, pipefitting, and structural layout.
Responsibilities
Provides maintenance, repair, and replacement of ductwork for heating, refrigeration, and air conditioning equipment
Designing and installing ducts and duct fittings.
develop patterns, cut, form, join, assemble, and install items and systems which have combined straight and curved edges or irregular curves, angles, and planes throughout the installation.
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education / Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
• HVAC trade certifications required
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• A valid home country driver’s license.
Experience:
• Minimum of 3 years continuous experience with required HVAC certifications
• Minimum 3 years HVAC Ductwork/Mechanic experience •
Skills & Technology Used:
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
• Must possess the technical skill to identify repair requirements as it pertains to HVAC Ductwork and HVAC equipment
