Akamai Technologies, Inc. Senior Networking Software Engineer in Poland

Join our Network Software Engineering Team!
Our Infrastructure Engineering & Operations organization builds and maintains Akamai's Platform, one of the largest distributed platforms in the world. The team is responsible for designing and developing networking software running on Akamai switches, routers and servers.
Partner with the best
Our team is responsible for developing software running on Akamai routers and Host Networking on our Cloud Compute Servers. We are also involved in creating monitoring systems for modern network topologies.
As a Senior Networking Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Designing and developing software according to the highest standards
Collaborating with multidisciplinary Akamai teams and industry partners
Contributing to Open-Source software projects
Learning about our distributed systems, products, and the technical stack as necessary for your role
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
Have solid background in C/C programming
Have development experience using Python or Golang
Be familiar with Linux environment and internals (networking, security)
Have experience with DevOps and CI/CD processes and tools (Jenkins, Docker)
Possess good knowledge about L2/L3 Computer Networks (switching, routing)
