V2X Stock Control Lead in Philippines

Overview

This position is physically located in the Philippines in support of LOGCAP

Under supervision of the Logistics Manager and/or Materials Manager, the Stock Controls Lead d irects, manages, and supervises the daily operations of a stock control room or warehouse. Provides daily guidance to stock control personnel, and directs stock control personnel in the Standard Army Management Information Systems (STAMIS) and inventory control management functions. Reconciles activity records for monthly and quarterly reporting and status reviews. Prepares, complies, and submit reports on work schedule, activities, and operations. Confers with customer, supervisors, contractors and other personnel to exchange information and resolve problems.

  • Provides daily guidance to stock control personnel, and directs stock control personnel in the Standard Army Management Information Systems (STAMIS) and inventory control management functions.

  • Reconciles activity records for monthly and quarterly reporting and status reviews.

  • Prepares, complies, and submit reports on work schedule, activities, and operations.

  • Confers with customer, supervisors, contractors and other personnel to exchange information and resolve problems.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.

  • Must be CAC eligible and/or able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC).

  • Must be able to obtain a Driver’s License.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

  • Capable of effectively communicating technical information in English, both written and verbally.

  • A valid Driver’s License is required for all Labor Categories in the Philippines.

  • Experience:

  • Two(2) years of experience working in supply, inventory management, or warehouse.

  • One (1) year of supervisory experience.

  • Skills

  • Able to provide daily guidance to stock control personnel and directs stock control personnel in the Standard Army Management Information Systems (STAMIS) and inventory control management functions.

  • Able to reconciles activity records for monthly and quarterly reporting and status reviews.

  • Able to prepare, comply, and submit reports on work schedule, activities, and operations.

  • Able to confers with customer, supervisors, contractors and other personnel to exchange information and resolve problems.

  • Supervisory Skills:

  • Collaborative work style fostering cooperation and teamwork.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.

  • Prioritize responsibilities to handle a demanding workload

  • Able to provide daily guidance to stock control personnel.

  • Ability to encourage teamwork and manage priorities and deadlines.

  • Working Conditions:

  • Must be capable of working in an extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit.

  • Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well.

  • Physical Requirements:

  • Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

  • Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents.

  • Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.

  • Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
