Job Summary

We are looking for a Crystal Reports Developer that will report to the Manager of the Guest Services Information Technology Product Team of our client. Primary responsibilities include development, and maintenance of In-House and Custom Crystal Reports. This position will be full-time and remote work set-up.

Job Description

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and Maintain Crystal Reports for Product related requests, Sales, and development needs

  • Develop and Maintain Crystal Reports for Internal Report related needs as directed by management

  • Repair and update existing reports as needed due to reported bugs or development changes

  • Evaluate each Report request, verifying whether the request may already be answered in another report, whether the request is valid, the possibility of getting the request completed, and estimating time for completion

  • Review and Estimate development time and possibility for Custom Report quote requests

  • Prioritizing report projects based on overall company and or client impact

  • Maintaining product knowledge through use of WebEx training classes and using other internal resources when researching or developing reports as needed

  • Document all progress, issues, and resolutions, according to the clients’ management direction

What You'll Need

Required:

  • Adept at learning new Relational database models

  • Perform testing of data quality and performance of reports

  • Perform Quality Assurance tasks for others' work

  • Expertise with MS Excel, including VLookup and Pivot tables, Reporting (Crystal preferred) and other database tools (Toad\SQL Developer)

  • Proficiency in generating complex SQL queries and scripts. Primarily Oracle

Preferred:

  • Ability to bring project to successful completion within appropriate timeline.

  • Demonstrate flexibility during times of change and ability to adjust to shifting priorities, demands and timelines

  • Adept at independently conducting research and understanding when escalation to a manager is appropriate and escalating in a timely manner

  • Ability to learn, understand and apply new technologies independently and with training

  • Ability to translate report requests from clients, development team, or management into quality Crystal Report

  • Exceptional Customer Care, problem solving, organizational and time management skills

  • Self‐motivated and able to work independently, as well as in a team environment

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
