Description and Requirements

The talent manager role will be responsible to plan, build & implement talent practices to support the AP business along with also being the learning partner for GTAP – The largest region within AP which includes markets in South, East and Central Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

Talent management

The incumbent is responsible to support Lenovo in its transformation journey through curated talent initiatives. This includes planning, designing & implementing initiatives to support business & employees with knowledge, relationships & platforms to cover business talent requirements through internal mobility and external programs.

  • Develop, implement and embed succession planning practices, talent management and development programs to enable the potential of employees and meet future and changing business needs.

  • Contribute to the design and implementation of career development strategies, tools and resources.

  • Facilitate talent reviews through scientific assessments for ready talent to deliver on organizational needs both current & future.

  • Work in collaboration with HR business partners and business leaders to generate insights andanalyze talent data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunitiesfor data-based decision making.

  • Embed DEI in talent initiatives to drive Organisational diversity goals

  • Develop and deliver training and development programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the workforce, including leadership development programs to identify and develop high-potential employees for future leadership roles.

  • Manage local vendor relationships and service level agreements in support of talent management programsas required.

  • Keep abreast of talent management best practices, determine where it would benefit employees and people leaders to recommend certain best practices and oversee their adoption.

Learning & Manager

The incumbent will be focused on Consulting, Needs Analysis, Program Design, Facilitation & Management and Evaluation of Learning & Talent Management Programs to support the business in achieving GTAP region & AP Geo Priorities. This includes Sales Skills Development, Leadership / Manager / HIPO Development as well as other Learning & Talent Management related activities that may be required.

  • Capability Needs Analysis & planning of annual development strategy for GTAP.

  • Build the learning culture by driving participation.

  • Deploy Capability Development Solutions – eLearning (micro/mobile learning), Webinars, Classroom etc.

  • Execution of the Annual Sales Capability Development plan for Japan

  • Support nomination of key talent to HiPo development programs and deliver the programs for GTAP as required.

  • Evaluate impact of learning across all levels of training effectiveness.

  • Design & deploy initiatives for development & growth of Key talent (HiPo, diversity talent, early career etc.) to ensure sustainability of Lenovo business in GTAP.

  • Facilitate team effectiveness workshops
