The Opportunity

Grass Valley is seeking for Interns/Fresh Graduates for our Software Development team to work on the revolutionary SAAS-based GV AMPP ®  , a SaaS platform designed to enable efficient and flexible media production workflows for live content creation, management, and distribution. The technology is designed to provide broadcasters, content creators, and media companies with a powerful, scalable, and secure platform to create and deliver more content to more channels.

The engineer will join the AMPP Framelight X product development team and help develop media asset management solutions.

This position requires a hands-on engineer with strong engineering and programming skills and ambition to take on new projects, define and own what needs to be done, and see it through to conclusion.

The Software Development Engineer will have direct involvement in the main aspects of the software development lifecycle. The role involves close collaboration with the other groups in the company in order to deliver high quality solutions to our customers.

What you will learn

  • Product/Features implementation, code review, govern coding practices;

  • Execute engineering test before handing over to QA;

  • Applying and optimizing software development practices, development, testing and integration in an Agile/Scrum environment.

  • Provide information by collecting, analysing, and summarizing development and performance issues.

  • Involve in development using .Net Framework / C#

  • Exposure to:

  • TypeScript, Angular, Kubernetes, Docker, MongoDB, REST API, GIT, ADO

  • CI/CD practices

  • Exposure to Microservices based systems

  • Fluent with Object Oriented Design, Data Structures and Design Patterns

    What you Have to Offer

  • Bachelors’ degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • A passion for writing quality software

  • Analytical and strong problem solving skills

  • Passionate for continuous learning and able to adapt to fast-changing technologies and environments
