Intel Analog Design Engineer in Malaysia

Job Description

The digitization of every industry is accelerating the global demand for semiconductors at a torrid pace. Intel has led the world in chip-manufacturing as an integrated device manufacturer (IDM); the new IDM 2.0 is a major evolution of Intel's IDM model. Intel Foundry Services (IFS), as one of the strategic pillars of Intel IDM 2.0, is chartered to empower our customers by delivering industry-leading silicon and packaging with differentiated IP portfolio.

You will be part of a team, participating in analog mixed signal design using leading edge process technologies from Intel. This role requires an engineer with strong analytic and problem solving skill, an ability to communicate well, and willing to share and discuss issues. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to: performing all aspects of analog design from circuit design, layout floor-planning, running spice simulation and result analysis, area/power reduction, design performance improvement to create a design database that is ready for manufacturing. Duties will include design of standard cells, sensors, op-amps, bias references, buffers, voltage regulators, Xtal oscillator buffers, high speed frequency dividers, digital-analog mixed signal circuits, etc.

Qualifications

Master or PhD of Science degree in Electronic, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or equivalent with preferably at least 1 years of experience in SOC/Analog/IP/ASIC design and/or methodology development.

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
