Opportunity

This specific job is primarily related to leading the design, implementation, development, and maintenance of systems related to Finance, HR, Legal & Procurement. This individual will work with cross-functional teams to identify project deliverables and timelines while communicating with stakeholders throughout the business.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Designs, implements, develops, and maintains computer systems and programs to increase business effectiveness, solve problems, and create new opportunities to increase efficiencies and drive costs out of the business.

  • Directs, measures, and evaluates the project resources for Finance, HR, and Legal systems consistent with standard processes.

  • Conducts feasibility studies for systems projects and evaluates the credibility of cost estimates and benefits compiled by the systems staff and users.

  • Reports systems successes/failures and troubleshoots resolutions. Controls and adheres to systems methodologies, standards, and procedures.

  • Develops general systems logic and establishes decision rules which may be directly implemented by user or systems.

  • Investigates and evaluates improved methods, procedures, software, and equipment to enhance all functional responsibilities.

  • Reviews, critiques, and approves systems specifications.

  • Establishes and maintains service level agreements with customers.

  • Reviews capacity, utilization, and other performance measures.

Skills/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business, or related field required with a preference towards a master’s degree.

  • 5+ years of IT experience leading strategic initiatives and projects. Preference to candidates that have worked with systems that impact Finance, HR, Legal, and Procurement.
