The Role

As part of the FBS initiative, the Order Fulfillment team is looking for a new Order Generation Analyst who will be the owner of the weekly and monthly processes that create recommended orders for all NA dealers and all Vehicle Lines so they have the required amount of orders in their order banks to meet the production program volume by optimizing the vehicle line's mix yield, maximizing material and plant capacity utilization, and the dealers' sale potential while adhering to restrictions on commodities constraints and buildable combinations.

The Order Generation Analyst provides general support to the NA market (United States, Canada and Mexico) for Smart Inventory Management System (SIMS), Fitness Order Generation process as well as Rapid Replenishment (RR), Configured Vehicle Wholesale (CVW), Nautilus CVW and Model E Order Creation and VIN Distribution processes.

Your Impact:

  • Main responsibility is all aspects of vehicle orders creation for SIMS, Fitness, RR, CVW, Nautilus CVW and Model E for all North American markets (US, Canada and Mexico)

  • Responsible for Fitness Order to Delivery (OTD) Entity Selection and Fitness Wholesale process for all North American markets (US, Canada and Mexico)

  • Order generation according to plants and markets recommendation / Requirements

  • Review all order creation and VIN Distribution output prior to releases

  • Release of SIMS, Fitness, RR, CVW, Nautilus CVW and Model-E Orders (On weekend when necessary)

  • Responsible for “Purge/no purge” SIMS on a weekly basis (recommended orders)

  • Support to internal users on OTD Analytics tool and data

  • Support to dealers and internal users on order release, VIN Distribution and reporting queries

  • Data Set up & configuration on Order Generation and Global Wholesale Services systems

  • New Model Years vehicle line setup in Order Generation, Global Wholesale Services supporting Order Generation and Fitness processes.

  • SIMS weekly and monthly output analysis for USA, Canada and Mexico markets

  • Access Management support for OTD Analytics and Order Generation tools

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree or Engineering in industrial, economics, administration or related.

  • 3+ years of experience on management of databases.

  • Highly proficient in MS Excel, experience with Alteryx (or other BI tools) is recommended.

  • Strong written/oral English communication skills (90% of time the interaction is with US/CA)

  • Organized, ability to follow-up on assignments & coordinate cross-functional workstreams.

  • Great analytical skills (Creation and interpretation of graphs and large sets of data)

  • Curiosity, self-learning, and initiative.

  • Focus on providing customer service in a timely manner and ability to establish good interpersonal relationships.

  • Availability to hybrid work (remote and at Ford of Mexico Headquarters)

  • Valid US-VISA and Passport (2 trips/year for training and meetings)
