Develop and implement sourcing strategies for high voltage wire harnesses in alignment with the company's commodity strategy.

Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.

Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve the best possible outcomes for the company.

Monitor market trends, industry developments, and supplier performance to ensure a competitive and reliable supply base.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, quality, and logistics to ensure seamless integration of new suppliers and technologies.

Manage supplier relationships to ensure continuous improvement and innovation in the supply chain.

Conduct regular supplier audits and performance reviews to maintain high standards of quality and reliability.

Analyze and manage risks associated with the supply chain, developing contingency plans as necessary.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sourcing activities, contracts, and supplier performance metrics.

Support cost reduction initiatives and contribute to overall supply chain efficiency improvements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience in purchasing or supply chain management within the automotive industry.

Proven experience in sourcing and managing suppliers for high voltage wire harnesses or similar commodities.

Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of automotive industry standards and regulations related to high voltage wire harnesses.
