Ford Credit IT is looking for a proficient Android Mobile Engineer who is having excellent hands-on in Mobile app Development using Android Native with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose.

  • Strong knowledge on dependencies.

  • Strong knowledge on Coroutines.

  • Good understanding of the various design patterns in Android Native application.

  • Strong knowledge on debugging and other tools available for the Android Developer ecosystem.

  • Able to understand the existing code and provide appropriate solutions for feature additions which adheres to the standards and guidelines.

  • Knowledge on Accessibility with respect to Android.

  • Highly proficient in object-oriented principles.

  • Solid understanding of Jetpack Compose UI and the entire lifecycle.

  • Ability to understand the stories and features and come up with the appropriate low-level design.

  • Able to work with the respective leads and anchors to address priority items lined up for the release.

  • Ability to understand the various integration touchpoints that provides insights on the App stability like Crashlytics,Dynatrace,Mixpanel etc.

  • Deep knowledge on the Android design principles and human interface guidelines.

  • Strong knowledge on State,View transition and navigation patterns in Android.

  • Engage in Agile practices including but not limited to Stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint demos and journey mapping.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Ability to peer review code as per the standards set and help junior developers in following the same.

  • Strong knowledge on code versioning tools like GIT.

  • Good understanding of Unit testing implementation of the Android and Kotlin ecosystem using Default or Thirdparty frameworks.

Position Qualifications:

  • B.E. / B.Tech / M.C.A

  • Minimum 4-7 years of experience developing mobile apps with Native Android.

  • Must have experience in deploying apps to the stores using automated scripts.

  • Lead overall Mobile development from Engineering team and able to collaborate with cross functional teams based on the module being worked upon.

  • Ability to integrate with various customer engagement and analytics platform.

  • Ability to understand and create appropriate configuration on those platforms.

  • Ability to integrate the GraphQL from Native Mobile app.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive development of highly technical technology services and capabilities.

  • Experience with push notification solutions others than Firebase would be preferred.

  • Strong sense of code with ability to review code using SonarQube, Check Marx, rework and deliver Quality code.

Other Information:

  • Nice to Have Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience in integration with fault highly scalable platforms that consumes cloud API/REST/GraphQL(Pub/Sub).

  • Should have knowledge on basic cloud services and infrastructure as a code.

  • Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.

  • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
