Program Manager to provide oversight of on-site operations for a large medical support services program in Iraq supporting our U.S. Government customer. The Program Manager is responsible for serving as the central point of contact for programmatic issues. Accountable for the governance, alignment, assurance, management, integration, optimization, tracking, finances, infrastructure, planning, and improvement of the medical support activities and services. The Program Manager shall be responsible for all Contractor personnel, promoting operational efficiencies and ensuring activities and resources are aligned to meet contract objectives.

Responsibilities

Major Job Activities:

  • The Program Manager shall be capable of effective oral and written communication and shall maintain a complete and thorough knowledge of the Contractor’s proposal, the terms and conditions of the contract and any contract modifications.

    Working Environment:

  • Located in Bagdad.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • DOS experience is preferred.

    Education / Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Services, or related field. Program Management Certification preferred.

    Experience / Skills:

  • 15 years of progressive experience in managing, directing, and implementing medical support services.

  • Must have experience in successfully managing a diverse group of functional activities, subordinate groups of professional and administrative personnel.

  • Must be experienced in management and control of large funds and resources, and demonstrated capability in managing complex, multi-task Government contracts.

  • Must have experience in administering and leading project utilizing standardized Program Management methodologies.

  • Knowledge of healthcare administration and management.

  • Demonstrated ability to oversee multiple projects and/or programs and respective resources to accomplish strategic healthcare needs of the facility.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively as well as lead and direct the work of others.

  • Significant prior work experience in planning and organizing the activities of a large and/or complex medical unit.

  • Advanced knowledge of public health, health services, or business administration practices.

  • Considerable experience working in the healthcare field.

  • Demonstrated leadership experience or advanced knowledge and understanding of supervision and management practices.
