Role Value Proposition:

The EMEA Digital Hub is a diverse team of Developers, Business Systems Analysts and Quality Assurance (QA) analysts charged with creating solutions to address core business challenges within MetLife. Our strategy is to deliver a differentiated customer experience and increase MetLife’s operating leverage. Our team is responsible for creating and delivering these solutions, working with stakeholders across Europe and the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) using Waterfall and Agile frameworks and tools.

Key Relationships:

Reports to: Software Development Manager

Direct Reports: 0

Other Key Stakeholders: In-country business analysts and users, developer leads, software engineers, business system analysts, QA engineers, architects, scrum leads and project managers

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acts as Servant Leader for the Agile Release Train (ART)

  • Facilitate PI Planning

  • Supports PI Execution

  • Coaches the ART, particularly the scrum leaders in the teams comprising the ART

  • Optimises the delivery of work in the ART, from concept to cash

  • Drives continuous improvement in the ART

  • Acts as a conduit between the ART and non-ADM governance structures – Waterfall projects or Senior Stakeholders who need detail and interpretation of ADM artefacts

  • Drives better understanding and visibility of the objectives of the Digital Hub

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

Business Knowledge/Technical Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Level 8) / diploma in computer science, information systems or other related field, or equivalent work experience

  • 5+years’ experience in Information technology working with complex and fast paced environments, ideally in insurance or banking

  • 3 + years’ experience in an Agile Methodology environment

  • Strong organizational skills with demonstrated excellence working on multiple medium to large scale projects in parallel

  • Demonstrate analytical and In-depth problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, working from small team to most senior levels

  • Relevant qualification in project management / Scaled Agile
