Job Overview

Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP)’s IT Finance Group is looking to hire an IT Manager with strong experience to support our Finance COE Ireland group, from the moment a transaction is recorded all the way to our financial reporting. The IT Manager will be responsible for our SAP Ecosystem as the lead technical resource for our Record to Report Team for Europe. The team designs, configures and maintains the backbone of KDP’s finance, treasury and tax activities that enable us to manufacture the products that our customers love.

In this role, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Also responsible for leading IT Projects, including the design and deployment of new functionality for IT systems in the ecosystem.

Your Responsibilities will include:

  • Provide leadership for the team to plan, organize, control and support the finance organization.

  • Be the Technical SME on the application, helping unravel integration complexity and be able to translate issues into action plans.

  • Creates a safe space to raise impediments, owns the RAID log and the resolution of impediments to the team’s success.

  • In partnership with the Business Product Owner(s) + Stakeholders, plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product.

  • Provide technical direction and training to team members on the application and IT Best Practices in the areas of SOX Compliance and IT Governance Controls.

  • Manage IT Team Members including recruiting, training and coaching, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance (experience working with outsourced IT Teams is a must), with experience managing up to 3 direct Reports.

  • Act as the Change Agent and enable a culture of collaboration while leading tactical and strategic solutions.

  • Design, Develop, Implement and coordinate releases, policies and procedures against a quarterly and annual roadmap.

  • Monitor the performance of our key application, including developing key backup and disaster recovery scenarios, balancing our cost vs productivity levels and make recommendations for continued support of the application.

  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to the application.

Requirements

Competencies we would love to see:

  • Responsive, fast-paced decision-making skills with the ability to drive learning goals for Agile.

  • Experience in building a Tier 1 application, including system configuration, business rule management and testing of a financial system.

  • Mature Product Owner skills, with an innate ability to listen, understand and help team members navigate the discomfort of an Agile transformation.

  • Ability to interface effectively with technical teams in the Snowflake, Informatica, Micro Strategy, Power BI and SAP Technologies as well as non-technical Business SMEs

  • Ability to manage/lead matrixed teams in a Scrum/Agile format as well as be flexible with waterfall-based project teams.

  • Experience leading and managing Medium IT projects and rolling out IT applications across various technologies.

  • Excellent working knowledge of SAAS integrations, IT security, systems administration, databases and data storage systems

  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills

  • Advising peers and senior stakeholders on complex issues and provide simple, contextual guidance to influence actions of internal and/or external partners.

  • Excellent knowledge of business processes in the area of Finance & Product Costing and ability to “speak the business language” when talking about IT subjects, to be able to discuss and guide our business partners.

  • Business presence – have the demeanor and ability to manage relationships with core internal business customers and/or external suppliers.

    To qualify for the role, you must have

  • A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (MBA or Business Undergraduate degree preferred). SAP certification/s highly preferred.

  • At minimum 5 – 7 years of experience working with SAP Finance modules (FI, CO, CO-PC, COPA – S/4HANA experience preferred), as well as participation in one or more full life cycle SAP implementation/s required.

  • Experience with implementing and advanced working knowledge of SAP Accounting, Finance, controlling (including Material Ledger), Asset Accounting, Project System, Travel Management and Bank accounting Modules.

  • Experience with implementing SAP Finance and integrations to SD, MM, PP, PM, etc. to support product cost controlling and margin analysis.

  • Experience in business partnering support for budgeting and forecasting (monthly forecast), monthly volume analysis and Purchase Price variance.

  • Experience with leading business blueprint, gathering and documenting business requirements and designing SAP enabled solutions.

  • Experience facilitating cross-functional team members with complex schedules against a published plan.

  • Team lead expertise – stream planning, status reporting, managing governance, managing the team against the plan, escalating risks/issues/decisions/changes, budget management, etc.

  • Development of project documentation including business process flows, training materials, requirements gathering, and project management methodology experience required.

  • Experience with all aspects of cost controlling and management accounting within an ERP system.

  • Proven track record of broad industry experience and excellent understanding of complex enterprise IT landscapes and relationships

  • Experience with International business function is preferred.

  • Experience in managing internal and external experts in different locations and time zones.
