As a Software Development Engineer in Test II , you will be responsible for:
Building, testing, and delivering our core backend services and API's that provision and manage virtual machines in the cloud.
Ensuring the quality of service for hundreds of thousands of Linodes running across our global datacenter network.
Understanding the overall software stack that makes us tick.
Working in an environment that fosters innovative solutions, rapid development cycles, and open communication.
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
Have 3 years of relevant experience and a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
Demonstrate professional experience with Python, Perl, or Bash.
Have Implement test automation using frameworks such as Pytest, nosetest or similar.
Possess familiarity with RESTful APIs and developing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for appropriate coverage.
Have basic working knowledge of relational databases, like MySQL, PostgreSQL.
Have working knowledge of continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, Github Actions or GitLab.
