Oracle Software Developer III in India
Responsibilities
Recognize and consider dependencies in planning and decision making
Apply industry best practices for user software development
Conduct performance tuning to ensure code is scalable and meets performance requirements
Create and provide input to code specification development
Identify process improvements and system enhancements and recommend solutions
Trouble-shoot complex problems or issues through in-depth analysis of variable data sets and factors
People Management Responsibilities (for associates with one or more direct reports):
Seek to understand disagreements, ensure all perspectives are heard and facilitate a plan for resolution.
Delegate the work appropriately, provide clear expectations and follow up to ensure progress and overcome roadblocks. Identify associates and team priorities based on business direction and adjust when needed.
Lead by example and share knowledge and experiences with associates and team. Create a respectful work environment where you advocate for your team, create accountability and recognize accomplishments.
Provide timely feedback to encourage success, ensure accountability and connect opportunities for your associates' development.
Identify the right talent to achieve the desired results. Promote and build a diverse and cohesive team to accomplish objectives and align associates' skills to fill gaps.
At least 5+ years of experience in CCL (Cerner Command Language) and overall of 8+ years of experience, which should also include in Oracle Database/PL SQL
Should have a good understanding of Cerner Millennium Architecture and Cerner Millennium Data Model.
Should have Excellent knowledge on CCL (Cerner Command Language), Discern Explorer, Discern Visual Developer, and Olympus(preferred).
Ability to perform impact analysis on database and configuration changes.
Ability to resolve complex issues in a timely manner, mentor new associates and provide SME advice.
Ability to perform query optimisation of Oracle level queries or CCL level queries.
Perform complex troubleshooting investigations, document notes, and knowledge articles.
Debug issues/problems as needed (his/her own, as well as programs written by others).
Ability to estimate complex requirements and plan for completion of assignments and deliverables.
